Cappella della Nunziatina

Cappella della Nunziatina

Studio 63

The Nunziatina Chapel dates back to the early 1200s and is classified among the Cultural and Landscape Heritage protected by the Superintendent, who supervised its restoration and conservative rehabilitation.

The project is the result of a collaboration between Qu, which handled the lighting design, and Studio63, which managed the architectural recovery. The goal was to study, design, and implement a lighting system that integrates discreetly with the surrounding environment and produces a delicate and evocative effect, enhancing the original materials.

The structure of the Chapel is highlighted and enhanced by various lighting fixtures used, such as along the path of the nave to the space dedicated to the sacristy.

As evening falls, the Chapel stands out among the ancient pines, and the intent of Qu and Studio63 becomes increasingly clear: through strokes of light, they aim to draw visitors closer to discover the historical significance of the Church.
